How can we start new projects as SENVI collective

As you may have noticed the site has been getting slower. I have been using Word for my posts everywhere as have others. Well anywhere it has be pasted (word code) that app or page will slow down.
Until we find a solution please only paste from notepad. Use your processor to compose and spellcheck but paste the spell checked document into notedpad then copy the contents in notepad into whatever you need to put text into on the site. Nothing should have input direct from word processor other than Microsoft NOTEPAD or other simple processors (saving in txt format from Word and other processors still leaves code that interferes with site function.
I suggest the speed will be up by tomorrow first thing, at the latest. Bear with us, the site is designed to run MUCH faster.

I came to the blog just to try it and was going to post something, but did not see how I could start a post, I could only comment on the existing posts. Perhaps the site isn't designed for members to start a topic. I have never blogged anywhere before and I didn't have much to say, was only looking for ideas and wondering what other SENVI members had done so far to further the Cause of SENVI.
Thanks for the heads up. I changed it. Now members can post, comment and change categories. a.k.a. full rights. Same on Forums. Let me know if you have problems. Use the blog as the SENVI complaints, suggestions and announcements type content. Debates, discussions and content you want to promote, do it in the forums. Use the blog as a general SENVI bulletin board. There could be lots of comments and discussion, but it would be about SENVI as a community or the site contents and/or design.
The featured members are gold in this community and are for us to support. Other members if not interested in being or staying active are encouraged to take a leave of absense or end their membership in the community.
This is not an internet Facebook type friend list project.
We are intended to be of equal value and status as ACTIVE SENVI members not honorary.. Passive interest at this time is useful as the membership alone can be used to extend the credibility of the group. In the future we want actives not celebrities.
I hope to invite and encourage all related groups to join us in the SENVI community.
We have a few represented here now and should seek to find all groups with similar interests and missions and invite a senior member of founder of each to join us. That is the immediate goal.
